DRIVER EDUCATION SCHOOL OF RECORD
This course is MANDATORY for people between the ages of 18 and under 25 who NEED a DRIVER LICENSE. It is recommended for people 25 and older as a help to passing the DPS Permit Test. This is NOT a defensive driving course. It CANNOT be used to dismiss a ticket.
Roadworthy Driving Academy TDLR License School #C2006 is the licensed school offering these online courses.

COURSE TUITION
A registration fee in the amount of $54.95 will be charged to the STUDENT. This fee includes all required instructional materials and needs to be paid prior to course beginning.

COURSE SCHEDULE
I AM ROAD READY, hereafter referred to as the SCHOOL, offers a course composed of 8 training units spanning 6 hours of instruction. A licensed instructor will be available for this course. The course will be available to the STUDENT Twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. This availability may be affected by circumstances such as, but not limited to: system, site or connectivity failure over which the SCHOOL has no control.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
The SCHOOL prescribes minimum hardware and software requirements for completing the course. Minimum browser requirements are the use of Microsoft lnternet Explorer (MSIE) 7.0 or greater, Firefox 3.0 or greater or any other browsers that provide equal or greater functionality. The browsers need to support Javascript. The minimum hardware required is such that it should be able to support the software configuration listed above. The course requires the use of a pointing device such as a mouse. The course requires that the hardware be equipped with speakers.

COMPLETION AND CERTIFICATION POLICY
The STUDENT agrees to complete all phases of the approved curriculum and provide a notary affidavit in order to receive a certificate of completion. Any time missed must be made up. The SCHOOL is prohibited from issuing a certificate of completion if the STUDENT has not met all the requirements for course completion and a STUDENT shall not accept a certificate under such circumstances.

GRADING AND PROGRESS POLICY
The STUDENT agrees that they may not be certified or given credit for the course unless they score 70% or higher on the final exam. Alternative testing techniques for students with reading, hearing or learning handicaps and policies for retesting students who score less than 70% will be a) review of material; b) translation, if necessary or possible; and c) re-testing, verbally if necessary. You will be asked fifty-nine (59) content validation questions throughout the course and a forty (40) question final exam.

CIRCUMVENTION WARNING
The STUDENT agrees that HE/SHE, and not any other person, will study the material in its entirety and complete the chapter quizzes. It is illegal to attempt to circumvent this online state-approved course or provide false information. If the SCHOOL discovers that the STUDENT has willfully misrepresented himself or has cheated, the STUDENT will be stopped from taking the course with no refund of the registration fees. In addition, the STUDENT may be prosecuted for perjury and other criminal acts which are punishable by law.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES
A full refund will be made to any student who cancels the enrollment contract within 3 days of registering for the course and prior to completion of Topic 2. Request for refund must be done in writing. The SCHOOL will terminate, without notice, the enrollment of any student who has not successfully completed the course within 90 days, from date of registration. All registration fees paid are due and refundable when the course of instruction is discontinued by the SCHOOL, preventing a student from completing the course, or the enrollment of the student was procured as a result of any misrepresentation in advertising, promotional materials of the SCHOOL, or representation made by the owner or employee of the SCHOOL. All refunds will be issued within 30 days following receipt of a permissible request for cancellation.

PRIVACY STATEMENT
The SCHOOL is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. The SCHOOL collects information from its users at several different points on the website. The SCHOOL will not use or sell this information to promote products or services unrelated to this adult driver education course or in ways different from what is disclosed in the Privacy Statement. Go to THIS PAGE to view the entire statement.

REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
STUDENT represents and warrants that the user information and registration information provided by STUDENT is true and correct, and acknowledges that the truth and accuracy of such information is a material inducement to SCHOOL in permitting STUDENT to enroll in the course. STUDENT further acknowledges and agrees that any willful or intentional misrepresentation by STUDENT regarding such user information or registration information constitutes a breach of this agreement and of the representations and warranties by STUDENT as provided in this agreement, and may subject student to liability for damages incurred by SCHOOL as a result thereof, including but not limited to general, consequential, and punitive damages.

VALIDATION OF IDENTITY
STUDENT understands that for student validation purposes, STUDENT must use the Personal Validation Security System and the STUDENT must provide the SCHOOL with the notary affidavit provided at the completion of this course. No certificate will be issued unless the SCHOOL has evidence of appropriate utilization of the Personal Validation Security System AND until the affidavit, filled out in its entirety and notarized, has been received by the SCHOOL.

ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE
STUDENT understands that the Adult Driver Education Certificate (ADE-1317) will only be issued to persons, age 18 to 24, who successfully complete an approved online Driver Education Course exclusively for adults. Compliance with Transportation Code, 521.1601. STUDENT also understands that NO certificate will be issued until the verification form, filled out in its entirety and notarized, has been received by the SCHOOL.

No refunds will be granted nor will you be permitted to re-process your order without additional charges for a new order (even if the information you submitted is in error, incorrect or invalid). STUDENT is responsible for entering all information correctly when going through the registration process. Information entered into the system at the time of registration will be used to issue the STUDENT a certificate. If any information is entered in error and used to process a certificate, and subsequently refused by the Department of Public Safety, STUDENT will be responsible for any fees incurred to issue a duplicate. Duplicate certificates are $20 and STUDENT must cover all shipping fees.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
STUDENT acknowledges and agrees that the liability of SCHOOL and their agents and employees for any act, omission to act, or negligence on the part of SCHOOL and their agents and employees, is strictly limited to and shall not exceed the amount of the registration fee actually paid by STUDENT.

This agreement constitutes the entire contract between the SCHOOL and the STUDENT, and any oral assurances or promises not contained herein shall not bind the SCHOOL or the STUDENT. If any provision of this agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable, the remaining terms and conditions shall nevertheless be of full force and effect. STUDENT further acknowledges that any grievances not resolved by the SCHOOL may be forwarded to the I AM ROAD READY Adult Driver Education Course, 1248 FM 78 Suite 104, Schertz, TX 78154 and Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation.
